It is my great pleasure to announce that the IDO Couple Dance Committee have granted the right to IDO Turkey to run the World Championships in Salsa, Bachata, Rueda de Casino and Latino Show for Duos and Groups in Istanbul the 27th of June. At the same event The World Championships in Salsa for Juniors will also take place.

We congratulate the President for the IDO Turkey, Mr Alper Alakut for the achivement to be granted this the most rewarding Special Couple Dance event of the year 2009. It will be a spectacular event with the best Latino dancers in the World competing against each other.

The IDO wishes all dancers and their teachers the best of luck in this prestigeous event. May the best performers become the World Champions and we wish all the other competitors a successful experience that will never be forgotten.
